Darwin Hobbs Releases New Single “Get Ready”

Darwin Hobbs Releases "Get Ready"

The first HeartART Worship release is Hobbs’ new track, “Get Ready,” which is available on all digital music platforms now. It’s his first gospel radio single since 2017’’s Top 25 hit, “Call the Name of Jesus.” He co-wrote it with Apostle John W. Stevenson, a gifted songwriter who also officiated Hobbs’ 1993 marriage to his wife, Traci. The mid-tempo R&B-flavored groove of divine expectation – featuring Mo’ Horns (Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige) – was recorded creatively in separate parts because of the COVID-19 lockdown. The musicians played their parts from their home studios, the background vocals were sung at an Atlanta studio while Hobbs recorded his lead vocals at The House of Blues recording studios in Nashville. It’s a warm and comforting return to the national stage for Hobbs.

Ayo Fayose praises Tinubu as one of the greatest builders of men in Yorubaland

Ayo Fayose praises Tinubu as one of the greatest builders of men in Yorubaland

Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has praised APC chieftain, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu stating that he is one of the greatest builders of men in Yorubaland.

The PDP chieftain while speaking at his residence in Ekiti State as part of activities to mark his 60th birthday said he would not defect to the APC as some other PDP leaders have done.

He also said he was not cross-carpeting so as not to reduce him politically.

“I am not championing the course of Tinubu, I am not in the position to do that, but there is no denying the fact that Tinubu is a prominent Yoruba leader, whether in APC or in PDP. There is no gainsaying that fact,” Fayose said.

“What I am trying to say is that we can’t hide their identities and goodwill for political reasons. We can’t deny their contributions. Other leaders from the North like Ahmadu Bello made different impacts. So,Tinubu has paid his dues,” Fayose said.

Mozambique expels 2 instructors who impregnated over 15 police trainees

Mozambique expels 2 instructors who impregnated over 15 police trainees

Mozambique’s government has expelled two instructors found guilty of impregnating students at a police training school, Justice Minister Helena Kida has said.
A disciplinary inquiry was held into the allegations against them, she added.

It is unclear how many students the men impregnated.

Reports first emerged in August, alleging that 15 police trainees had been impregnated after they were “harassed” into having relationships with instructors.

The Mozambican Police Association demanded justice for the women.
